The focal of this necklace started with a vintage man's watch that I removed the insides from. I glued a snippet of a song from a 1920's songbook to the inside and added a few rhinestones before closing it.
What do you do with a blue bird feather? Well, I enclosed it between two pieces of glass, foiled and soldered it and made a treasure necklace.
The corkscrew link is made from 16 gauge bronze wire. I saw the link in
Handcrafted Wire Findings by Denise Peck and Jane Dickerson and knew I wanted to try it. I will definitely make more.
The circle is a copper washer that I stamped with molten solder.
