Cameron Antique Fair

My husband and I went to Cameron Saturday to the antique fair.  It was great weather for walking and checking out all the vendors.  Cameron  is a very small town (The town had 151 residents at the 2000 census) and holds this fair two times a year.  Venders are set up anywhere there is a space in a yard.

If you are like me when you go treasure hunting, you are also looking for good ideas to use for display for your next show.

These are some great display ideas I saw...

An old lamp shade stripped of fabric makes a great jewelry holder
Now why didn't I think of that?

I have seen so many old fireplace screens at yard sales
and passed them up...now I'll never find another one!

A rolled up section of wire fence is good for hanging things on
And here are a few other pictures from the fair...

Have you been to any good shows lately?

  1. Linda, I can see you and I have many of the same passions! In fact, for my next blog post I am hoping to share pictures from a recent antiquing trip to PA (gotta go edit the pictures first!). This looks like just the way I'd like to spend my afternoon, in the ideal world. :-) I do hope you find another fire screen soon!

    1. Still looking for the fire screen-I told my sister about it and I'm sure she will have one for me soon! She seems to have good luck when looking for that certain something. Can't wait to read your post about Pennsylvania antiquing. Thanks for visiting my blog.
